Putting RFID To Work In The Retail Industry
Improving Operational Performance
The pace of RFID technology innovation accelerated when Wal*Mart announced their intent to adopt the technology to improve operational performance. Since the announcement, the retail industry has been awhirl with both technology and business use case development and innovation.
In this session, we will revisit progress made over the last year. We will hear from an apparel company using item level tagging to gain a competitive advantage by driving more efficient replenishment processes as well as hear an update from the University of Arkansas RFID Laboratory on innovative uses for the technology that they are seeing being deployed in the retail arena.
Our panelists are drawn from a cross section of early players in the application of RFID, and bring to the discussion real world experience with RFID technology in the retail space.
