2-260Z, Executive Training Center, Carlson School of Management

Date: February 14, 2006

Meeting: Storage Network Users Group (SNUG)

Event Registration

The February SNUG meeting will have a special focus on Interoperability issues. The end-users who took the SNIA-sponsored End User Council 2004 and 2005 Surveys identified Interoperability as a problem and the End User Council took this message back to the SNIA board. At the October 2005 Storage Networking World, SNIA board members asked end-users directly about Interoperability. What they discovered was that the problem has many layers of complexity. This SNUG meeting offers our members a chance to talk directly to a sponsoring SNIA Board member who will help drive SNIA directives to address Interoperability.

Date: Tuesday, February 14, 2006
Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Room 2-260Z, Carlson School of Management (CSOM), University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus.

Agenda:
1:00 - 1:30 p.m. Networking
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Norman Owens, Vice-Chair of Storage Networking Industry Association's End User Council, "What does the 2005 End User Council Survey tell us about Interoperability?"
2:30 - 2:45 p.m. Break
2:45 - 3:45 p.m. Ray Dunn, Vice-Chair of Storage Networking Industry Association:
