Home > IP3 IT Security Seminar-2

The University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and MIS Research Center have teamed up with IP3 Inc., the nation's leader in information security education and research, to offer a workshop on IT security on June 9-10, 2005. "Strategy to Reality" is a 2-day technical workshop for corporate IT security directors will be offered at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

ip3's "Strategy to Reality" is a 2-day technical workshop for corporate IT security directors delivered in 20 cities each year. Our first quarter schedule includes training programs at the following universities: the University of Dallas, TX; University of San Diego, CA; UNLV's Institute for Security Studies, Las Vegas, NV; Indiana Business College at Indianpolis, Indiana, and Queens College, New York City.

The workshop covers the latest critical security items such as the NIST Guidelines to help federal agencies fortify their systems, SANS/FBI Top 20 Vulnerabilities and the President's National Security to secure Cyberspace. In addition, the workshop addresses the top five IT security challenges identified by corporate security managers: multi-vendor integration, wireless device security, spam, internal theft of intellectual property and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, as well as cryptography, PKI, mobile computing security, digital rights management, and an expanded section on cyber
law. Currently we're updating our program to include a focused case study on VoIP.

For a workshop outline, registration and event location information on this intensive 2-day overview on the latest security vulnerabilities and technologies, please visit www.ip3seminars.com. For MISRC Corporate Partners only contact the MIS Research Center for the complimentary registration code.
